Authorities have identified a man who was killed when he was hit by an 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 in Shreveport. The victim has been identified as a 50-year-old man from Dallas, Texas. Police said the man was in Shreveport working.
The victim was struck and killed by an 18-wheeler about 10:20 p.m. Wednesday on I-20 near Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. The truck driver told police he hit a pedestrian who was in the roadway. The investigation is ongoing.
