I-10 was completely shut down for 45 minutes while crews worked to remove a toppled tractor-trailer from the eastbound lanes. A crane was brought in due to the enormous weight of the truck and its load.
According to Sulphur police the 18-wheeler overturned at the 23 mile marker (Hwy 108 and I-10).
The driver, who suffered minor injuries, apparently lost control of his vehicle and entered the curb, flipping the truck onto its side.
The driver is from Houston, TX and the truck was owned by Far, Inc. out of Greenville, TN.
